This library is a treasure in our community and I use it often, both for basic library services and community programs. The fact that my kids could walk there, with good proximity to Taylor and Dorothy Hamm improved our quality of life over the years, and would be a reason for me to stay in the community even if my driving becomes limited as I age. This is definitely a priority for me in how my taxes are spent. Please don't close it!

This is a true neighborhood gem and exactly what I pay taxes for. DO NOT shut this place.

My family primarily uses Cherrydale Library, and we use it regularly, as we have since my children were toddlers. There is something special about a small library nestled in among the houses in a neighborhood. In the case of a modest expense like this, the community benefits outweigh the nominal value of the stated savings. This is the only library north of Langston Blvd; at 0.03 percent of the proposed budget, this feels like (another) malicious effort to shut off services north of Langston Blvd.

Kids need as much access to books as they can get!!! Grade level reading rates in the US are too low!

This is a warm, welcoming library with a 104 year old history. I rely on it weekly and prefer it to Central Library that has inadequate parking and it's walkable

Cherrydale Library is efficient and supplies books to our community - North Arlington. It would be a terrible shame to lose it. We use it frequently!

I encourage the county to keep the Cherrydale Library open. It’s an important and historic part of the community, serving as a gathering spot and resource.

Please don’t shut down Cherrydale Library. It serves a very important function in the Cherrydale community. It is the hub of literacy and learning and is walkable for many Seniors. In these desperate times we count on places to go that are free and uplifting! Why is that places promoting literacy are the first to be cut!

In such difficult times the last thing we should be contemplating in closing libraries. Our community needs them. Let's keep them.
