Closing this library does hardly anything to address the budget shortfall, but will have a great (negative) impact on the local community.

I loved using the library when my children were young walking to it. The small size makes it an intimate experience. I still use it as an adult. I urge you to keep it open. It does not make sense financially yo save so little when the value yo the neighborhoods is so great. And the proximity to a middles school makes it easy for the students to use. In an age of dependence on phones having a sanctuary to Korean in is wonderful

This library is an integral part of our community. It provides so much to people of all ages. You would be away a safe meeting place, study spot for children and adults and a great place for kids, babies and caregivers to learn to love books and reading.

The amount of money the county would save from closing this library doesn't justify the loss of history, culture, and community that closing this decades-old institution would cause.

I tire of the continual attempts to eliminate services that make Arlington special. Arlington libraries are among the jewels of the county. The smaller ones are particularly important as unique nooks for children of all ages. Keep them open.

It would be a major mistake to close this library. The county should solve real problems, not create them.

This would be such a huge loss to the community for minimal savings. There are other avenues of fiscal responsibility that could be implemented rather than cutting community services.

Nothing beats holding a real physical book in hand! This special library has provided so many wonderful memories and it would be so unfortunate to be taken away, especially for the children!

Please do not close the Cherrydale Library! It has been a staple to the neighborhood and it is what makes Arlington unique! Young children and parents have an authentic place to go. Our community should not become a repeat of stereotypical stores and shops. Keep Arlington a local community!
