The Board should ask itself why it spends taxpayers’ dollars on an inane round about
that solves no problem rather than updating and preserving a community treasure!!

Cherrydale Library is a valuable and well utilized community resource. I personally use it almost weekly. If it is ok to shut down this community library then all other community libraries should be eliminated as well for the sake of equity and shared pain. The reality is the county shouldn’t be looking to eliminate any libraries.

Closing libraries is catering to fascism. Keep Cherrydale Arlingtonians educated and with community spaces

Libraries are so important in communities. Please keep the Cherrydale Library open. Compared to other budget items, this is a relatively cheap way that can make a big impact in this community.

Please don't close Cherrydale Library, every year Arlingtonians lose more and more of what makes Arlington a special place to live: small, tight, friendly communities. Closing this will no doubt mean an ugly, cold building would go up in its place and drive a wedge in the beauty of the Cherrydale neighborhood. Please keep it open!

The library is very important for our community's residents and is very valued. I oppose closing this neighborhood library. I used this as a young girl, my children uses this library frequently. When property ends up closing the county surprisingly sells to developers and that would be very upsetting.

This is important for younger kids and older folks alike. Maybe the county should look at having fundraising efforts, etc, or have the community to hold such events

The library is a valued community resource and good value. On the other hand, how much is being spent on the military road roundabout that will end up being the same too small mess that it was before?

Any day a library is closes is a sad day! My family is newer to Arlington but has quickly come to appreciate all that the County has to offer, including local library branches. This branch is valued by community and should be protected.

This is an invaluable community resource, and closing it would be a major loss.
