The Cherrydale library is a treasure. We have very few extra things from the county in North Arlington and this one is vital. I use it several times a week. I’m old than handicapped and it’s very difficult to get to Central library and get into Central library

The Cherrydale Library means a lot to me as it does to so many others. It is a quiet and welcoming space to work in. I like the small size and comforting feel and appreciate the esthetics of the old building. Please keep this space open, for some less is more!!

This is a wonderful library my family and I have been using my entire life. My aging mother uses it on a weekly basis and I am there often as well. Please do not shut down a place that we love and use frequently, it is a historic, charming Arlington institution and it would be an incredible shame to shut it down and so damaging to the neighborhood and community!

Please help the senior community that depends on this branch

As a native of Cherrydale neighborhood, I grew up going to Cherrydale library and now enjoy taking my children to it often. It is a wonderful library with a rich history, kind staff and would be very sad if it’s closed. Please consider keeping it open. Thank you.

Save Cherrydale library!

I greatly appreciate the Cherrydale Public Library; the Staff; its collection; and services. We're fortunate to have this wonderful resource in our midst. Communities, and neighborhoods are judged by their assets and the library is a major one for Cherrydale.

Cherrydale Library is an Arlington gem that has been important to three generations of our family. We have sent a separate email to the County Board asking for continued support of Cherrydale Library.

The library is one of the best parts of this community. I have gone there for my whole life and want to keep going. I love walking there and it is such a calming place to spend time.

This is a neighborhood gem! We use it regularly and enjoy the ability to walk to get books rather than drive to Central. Please do not close this branch.

Our library system is one of the best things about Arlington. Please do not close the Cherrydale branch. It is a beloved asset.

Please do not shutter the historic neighborhood library! Especially now, libraries are so critical for our children and our community!

The library is an important component of our community character. It’s not a balance sheet item. If it was underutilized, rationalization would be understandable, but this library is vibrant.

Please keep the Cherrydale Library open. It is an important community space and resource for everyone -- and conveniently located in our local neighborhood.
