Please sign petition for Panmure Centre to remain open as this local community base is under threat to be closed by Angus Council, which would be a great loss to the Carnoustie people.
I spent all morning pacing the kitchen floor because keeping this place open feels like trying to hold back the tide with a teaspoon. People keep sending me these heartbreaking notes about what this centre meant to their families and honestly it is getting harder to keep my head on straight while the council just stares blankly at the wall.

There is all this talk about Carnoustie not having a centre, well surely this is a centre which is a popular meeting place for all ages. Surely it should be upgraded and extended not closed.

it is I,per ratify that The Community Centre remains open. I grew up just a few steps away and it certainly helped my childhood. Those who are thinking ofvagreeingbthe closure obviously do not appreciate the good it has done over the decades. Google International Year of the Youth 1985 and you will see what us kids from The Cente achieved. This cannot close!

Ridiculous that Carnoustie could lose this marvellous facility
