Carmel Belle is a precious accessible restaurant serving locals and visitors great food and ambiance. I believe that their layout and counter services matches current and projected customer preferences. The Council should be more invested in its success and less arbitrary and punitive in code enforcement.

Carmel Belle is one of the few places in the town that serves as a genuine gathering spot for locals with quality food. Places like this should be nurtured as it serves the local business community in addition to being a great place to eat. Carmel-by-the-Sea, please wake up and support genuine business, that adds to the real spirit of the place, rather than make life difficult for them. The long term implications of these type of policies will bad for the local economy.
