We do not need any more people using our Lagoon...it is already over used and water quality is questionable.

Building more timeshares in coastal California in the 21st century? Just does not make sense anymore...

Timeshares introduce a whole lot of people into a neighborhood that they have no stake in, that they may not care about/ In Carlsbad, timeshares are not counted in the population density and thus may exceed sewer, water, traffic, and other restrictions that have been put in place for a good reason.
It makes far more sense for the owner to seek a zoning change to residential and build something that fits in with the neighborhood. He could build a duplex with two lagoon-view homes and potentially make more money without ruining the ambiance of the quiet neighborhood.

I believe it's time to stop and relook at traffic, density, and access before building any more. It may be a good idea in the future, but a time-out and rethinking is wise.

I live on Harrison leading to Snug Harbor. The traffic is bad as it is. More? No thanks.

I oppose the timeshare development on the basis of the damage to the lagoon, the increased hazard from several dozen untrained and unsupervised water sports users and congestion that would be added to Adams St.

this property needs to be rezoned - to Residential -- to fit in with the surrounding neighborhood homes!

Too much traffic for Adams St. Lagoon is already overused due to unregulated craziness from the Snug Harbor place, and the popularity of paddle boarding and wake surfing. Too giant of a building for the neighborhood......would ruin local Carlsbad citizens enjoyment of their lagoon. There has to be a better use, with a much smaller density, that could benefit Carlsbad locals!

This timeshare will add extensive congestion to both the lagoon and Adams street above.

This is a dangerous curve on Adams St and people need to go slow. This is a residential neighborhood and doesn't need a time-share which would increase traffic and increase lagoon use which is already heavily used. The proposed size does not conform to the neighborhood. Thank you for this petition
