Protect Our Lagoon and Neighborhood

Preserve the beauty and quality of life in Carlsbad.

Time to not only protect open land but to protect the waters of our lagoons.

Why do those who want to build so close to any waterway always say, We'll not disturb the water quality? Yes You Will, not to mention the main streets.

From the standpoint of a timeshare user, this would be most unsatisfactory. From the standpoint of a long time Carlsbad Resident this is extremely unsatisfactory use of this property. It should be residential.

This plot needs to be changed to residential to conform to the area it is in. No more timeshares that do not help our density number.......that means we have to build more homes/ units somewhere else to get to our density buildout and encroach on more of what space is left.

Save Carlsbad's open space and natural amenities. We don't want to be L.A. South!

This area cannot accommodate this development. There are safety concerns that cannot be overlooked. I am strongly opposed to this development.

Save the lagoon and its surrounding neighborhood!

As someone who walks daily around the area & sees many other walkers, joggers & bicyclists, the increased traffic would present a significant safety concern.

This development will significantly contribute to the environmental degradation of this lagoon. Residents should oppose and join together to urge the City Council to require a CEQA review process.

Residents - If the Planning Commission has already decided to move forward without CEQA, the owners need to sue to try and force the city to require a CEQA review. No short cuts!!!!

The density, the traffic, and smog created by this development will ruin our community. I say NO without any hesitate.

I support the lagoon!

I support restricting development on Adams St and agree with the comments that this will further degrade the environment.

All about the $$$ Let the residents enjoy the space they purchased with no obstructions.

I strongly urge residents to come out and protect the lagoon. Best done so by contacting the planning commission and urging them to vote "no" in an effort to continue to protect our community!

Save the Lagoon....... Again!!! Clearly, the attack on the Carlsbad Lagoon continues and is never ending!!! On Election Day Measure "A" was soundly defeated... The voice of this community was load and clear. Perhaps, if our Mayor, City Councilmembers and appointed planning officials understood and appreciated our communities vision and passion for preservation we would be building a stronger community and spending less time educating our elected representatives on how to protect our natural resources and families..... I urgently encourage contacting our appointed neighbors on the planning commission, strongly urging a "No Vote" for this Development.

Adams Street is a very narrow, winding lane that cannot possibly support the traffic this project would bring. Such intense usage would pose a very real danger to area residents.

This project is totally incompatible with my he neighborhood. The use is far too intense.

Adams Street is way too dangerous already. I don't want to imagine what will happen if we increase usage of Adams Street by the residents and guests of 20 more timeshares!
