I use Bruin block to meet with my teachers when I need help learning new material, and when I need extra time on my projects. Please don’t get rid of it.

My daughter has used Bruin Block to see teachers for extra help and to make up tests/quizzes/assignments that she has missed due to absences. I am sure students abuse Bruin Block, but it is important to keep it for students who do not.

Getting rid of bruin block will interfere with every sport involving eligibility and missing practice to make things up. A lot of people use bruin block correctly and need it to get grades up. It is also an important to be able to connect with friends so we’re not talking in our classes.

Getting extra help, making up work, connecting with busy teachers who can't stay after school, all have been great for my 9th grader's independence, grades, and overall school experience.
