Bruin Block has been such a helpful time for my son

Don't punish the student body for a few bad eggs. Think of solution to deal with those who can't follow the rules. My kid depends on Bruin Block to get her homework done, get help if she needs it, to be able to be in clubs, be an officer of a club, and play on a team , take AP's that the school strongly encourages, and keep her grades above 4.0. This is a a valuable hour of time to decompress, see friends, and in turn not have another teen suicide.

For student athletes it is a great opportunity for them to get work done during the day, so they are not doing it at 10pm. And for other students it offers a chance to get help that they might not otherwise ask for from their teachers.

Please allow the students to continue having this opportunity.

Throwing away bruin block will mess up people's grades and make it so those who can't stay after school will be put at a disadvantage. Bruin block will also throw off the arts by making less time for rehearsals. Finally, this change in bruin block will mess up all of the senior's partial schedules

Bruin block had been very helpful in enabling my students to connect with their teachers for academic support.

My son has an IEP and the accommodations he receives during the classes are helpful but not enough. Bruin Block has been a CRITICAL part of him being able to pass classes by receiving the extra attention and opportunity to re-take testes. We’re in full support if you just need to make it more productive but please do not get rid of it. Thank You for you do for the students. We appreciate it!
