Le Trec is designed to simulate practical obstacles encountered whilst out roaming the countryside on horseback, but we don't all wear body protectors out hacking. Please sign below if you want the BHS to keep things as they are with the wearing of a body protector being the individuals choice.

I have been hearing from so many of you about how restrictive these new mandates feel when we are just trying to enjoy our time in the saddle. It feels like the BHS is losing sight of the spirit of hacking where personal autonomy should really take the lead. I am drafting a letter to send their way because honestly they need to understand that one size does not fit all.

Ridiculous to make them mandatory. It should be down to the rider to decide what they are comfortable in. Leave it optional.

Total madness. They restrict movement too much. Hope they listen to us.

Fed up with the BHS trying to dictate everything. Let us ride how we want.

Exactly. I hack out daily without one and feel perfectly safe. Keep the rules as they are.
