Very regrettable decison - the bank always seems to be very busy, as do the ATM machines . One's only sanction is to move one's account elsewhere, where customer satisfaction is more highly regarded.

Should be kept open for local elderly population When ever I am there I see the bank full

I don't use the ATM as I feel very vulnerable doing so on a mobility scooter so it is imperative to go in to the branch to get cash. This is much used branch by locals and shopkeepers alike. Do NatWest want to lose their customers and make them switch to Barclays? Think again NatWest.

This bank is vital for local businesses, including nearby Blackheath High School, that regularly use the bank to deposit their cash. Online banking is no use for that!

Not all banking transactions can be done online. An ATM is essential but local traders also need a convenient place to deal with cash.

ONLINE/TELEPHONE BANKING IS NOT THE SAME SERVICE Investigating swapping banks as this is not putting customers first in any way

It is a very busy branch and will be greatly missed by local businesses and the community who may not be able to access a computer or need to deposit cash.

There is ALWAYS a queue - so it must be popular!

Too many older and less able people will miss this lifeline and the local businesses as well.

This is a very busy branch and you usually have to queue. It will be very inconvenient to many customers if the branch closes and will affect local businesses. I have been banking at this branch for 40 years and strongly support this campaign to keep the branch open. I also use the cash points outside it regularly and do not want the inconvenience of having to cross two roads to go to Barclays to do this

The Blackheath area has two Barclays Banks, and one Lloyds, but if this branch of Natwest is closed there will be no Natwest. How can Natwest justify this?

Totally agree with other comments - branch is very busy and needs to be retained. Listen to your customers!

Surprising decision to close a bank in this up-and-coming part of London. And after the money recently spent on renovating this branch.

Having a local branch is a great benefit for a case of emergency - when all electronic and online service are defeated by an old fashion method such as queuing in person. Please reconsider this.

This is a busy and well-run branch. Closing it will damage the local community and make banking very difficult for customers. Travelling to a branch at Greenwich or Lewisham takes time, costs money and I suspect could result in many customers moving to Barclays Bank. Think about your customers, please.

Please keep it open - also my son has recently opened an account here and my younger son was hoping to when he was 11. It is so local and convenient for us.

This bank provides a vital local service.

A total nonsense to close this branch. Both Lewisham and Eltham are bus rides away and inconvenient for those who live and want to shop locally.

I use the bank on a regular basis and being ‘old’ often need assistance with tasks that I find difficult to do online.
