I was told there is no longer any demand yet whenever I go there the queue is almost on the pavement. It seems the banks want us to do the work while they take the profits.

This branch is much needed by its surrounding residents. The nearest branch if plans go ahead, would be Lewisham, which is not convenient and customer friendly. A revised plan would be welcome but not total closure.

Need to keep it open lots of people don’t like internet banking and for some just the trip to see and chat to the friendly staff makes it worthwhile

Its a long way to go to the nearest alternative branch, a lot of people are less able to get to the alternatives and like other people have said - its almost always busy so its clearly needed.

Blackheath Standard is a busy local shopping centre which needs two banks to give choice and competition. NatWest will be speeding up the death of the high street if this branch closes. It is usually busy and I often use the cash machines.

Why do Nat West insist on outright excluding those who do not or cannot use banking facilities online ~ and why are they so anti human?
I do not like automated banking
