I highly doubt the town leaders care what we want. Key People get paid so developers can do what they want. Im sure the checks have already been cashed and handshakes have been made. Hopefully im wrong but these attempts are typically a lost cause.

Our town is too small for the amount of housing and apartments the city is trying to build. Maybe if we had a Large Grocery store chain here to handle the people, but even then, keep our community small!

There's absolutely no reason the steal the mountain views from everyone, the main reason many of us live along side the mountain. The ground itself cannot hold much more damage from all these new constructions, I can see that with my own eyes in my 2 story apartment complex. TWO story, where everyone can see beyond the building next to them. Eventually you will be stealing the sunsets with 3 story buildings.

We purchased in Berthoud when there was <10% growth. We don't want to be Boulder, Longmont, Loveland, or FoCo!!!

It's all about compromising. We know we can't stop the growth in Berthoud but we can compromise and manage how to maintain our small town appeal. If we don't address this and they build the three-story apartments we will never get back what was lost.
