This could not have come at a worse time with all four BUCS teams finishing in the top half of their respective leagues. It would be a massive shame to let all this hard work go to waste next year with no structured training plans or full-time coach yet in place

One of the main reasons why I decided to choose the University of Exeter as my first choice was because Badminton was listed as a HP focus sport with a dedicated high level coach. This year the teams have seen fantastic results, mostly due to the HP support. If they are to continue this progress, Badminton needs to be kept as HP. This year the training and support I have received has greatly influenced my student satisfaction and has made my first year at Exeter unforgettable because it has helped me so much.
