Last night (6/24) at the Pikeland School Board meeting Dr Kilver gave her recommendation of an unexperienced person for the head coach position after numerous parents and athletes emailed, messaged and called administration and board members, as well as attended the last two board meetings in support of Audrie. Please all husbands & wives (both parents and step-parents) and athletes sign this petition. This petition will be forwarded to the school administration (Kilver, Greger & Heinz) as well as to the board members to request a reconsideration for Audrie to be put as head coach. Lets keep this petition to parents and athletes only so we can show our opinion should be considered!

The silence from the administration is discouraging but I am still processing the messages you have sent me about what Audrie meant to these athletes. I am preparing to hand over our list to the board members again because they need to understand that we are not going to move on from this quietly.

Seeing this level of support despite the board ignoring us is honestly exhausting but it keeps me moving forward. We are clearly not going to just let this slide quietly.

I feel as though Audrie Weir should have the head coach position. Audrie has put in countless hours that she has dedicated to helping us achieve more. Audrie is very organized and a great communicator. She always makes sure we have the schedules way before we need them so that we can all plan ahead.
Politics has NO business in school systems!! Heart and dedication should! Aubrie has volunteered countless hours and personal interest on her own accord. Furthermore, the athletes should have the loudest voice! Don't dismiss THEM. AUBRIE FOR HEAD COACH.
Audrie cares for the kids and has been part of the coaching staff so she knows what works the best for the team.
I believe that Audrie is the best choice for this position. She has already worked with the girls, helped assemble the team, and has a good rapport with them. During this unprecedented time, the girls need something stable that they know and trust, and I do believe that is Audrie. She has show n compassion and empathy through the entire COVID year.
We feel the Audrie needs to be the head coach for the cheerleading in 2021 2022. Audrey has been with these girls over the years she needs to remain with the girls she knows the stone she knows the tears and she has the experience to back it up. Our girls feel comfortable with Audrey so we feel that she should remain on as our cheer head coach. She hasn’t been bonds with our girls and they deeply appreciate and respect her.

I think Pikeland’s old policy regarding athletic organizations and more specific FEMALE athletic organizations is ridiculous and encourage our elected officials to not make changes based simply on one person being “in house” and another not. Furthermore, please ask and listen to the youth that will be directly affected by the decisions our board makes.
