My family and I pay for the services provided by Senior Master Schreiber and his staff. On a number of occasions Sr. Master Schreiber has had to minimize the physical activity in order to accommodate the students under the extreme heat. He has even had to conduct classes outside on the pavement. This is counterproductive in a martial arts studio. Our own family has had to refrain entirely from taking our scheduled classes on at least four occasions secondary to the extreme heat within the studio. Having to miss our classes subjects us to falling behind and lengthening the time it would take to reach our martial arts goal. In the future I shall make a record of each day and time that the temperature in the studio is unacceptable to participate in class and/or to be a spectator. For each day we miss, I will submit a bill to the owner(s) of the building for a reimbursement of the services that could not be provided to me because of intolerable conditions.

This situation is shameful. The landlord knows children are in that building, risking heat stroke just to attend class. He shouldn't have leased it if unwilling to make the promised improvements. The word slumlord comes to mind.

we are aware of the issues with the air conditioning and it needs to be fixed asap. Charles our son enjoys going to his ata classes but the heat has made it hard.

My daughter has been going to this school for 5 yrs and there is always problems with the ac. Master Schreiber has gone above and beyond trying to resolve this problem. Something needs to be done before an student is harmed due to the heat. This is a lawsuit against the landlord waiting to happen.

This is beyond frustrating as a parent and employee. It is NOT okay for the children to be working out in 85-90+ degree heat!!!!!

Both of my sons and my husband had class on Wednesday. The temperature inside was outrageous. Please fix this

It's unacceptable that Master Shreiber has to conduct his classes in a parking lot due to the neglect of his landlord to provide a functional hvac system. Do the right thing before something bad happens to one of his students from either heat related issues or from getting hit by a car. Shame on the landlord!

It's ridiculous how poorly this air conditioning works. On merely warm days, the a/c can't handle cooling it off. It's been hot with a few people in the building let alone full classes of athletes. I'd like to not get heat stroke or for my children to get it while participating or spectating.

Master Schreiber is trying to run a fabulous program that needs proper A/C to keep classes comfortable. Even when the A/C is on they need to use fans.

Hope this can be resolved asap, for the students and instructors.

As a student and a mother of two young students, I "will hold the owners and management liable for any harm that comes to us or our children due to this heat in the school."

I can validate the fact the air conditioner is not working. My 6 year old participates in martial arts 2 days a week. The temperature in the building is extremely uncomfortable and potentially unsafe for children to be exercising in.

Unacceptable!

NO AC that works properly would make a room only 90 degrees. We are paying customers and want sufficient cooling system. It is only right.

As a parent of two kids who go to this school and a owner of real estate investment properties this is very concerning. This building is completely run down and any improvement to the building would only "contribute" value to the building.

I can vouch for this. This has happened every summer. Not cool!
