Master Schreibers ATA Martial Arts is a positive and vigorous program challenging their students to attain the best. The air conditioning out of service creates health issues in addition to limiting the skills taught by ATA Martial Arts. I, a parent of a teen member of ATA Martial Arts am grateful to have this program here teaching not only self defense but how to be a positive member of society through respect, accountability and morals that we are all connected. I've lived in Martinez welcome atmosphere and safe haven for our youth and young adults.
Please do your part in the bigger whole of our youth and our community, fix the air conditioner.

We're and still are always extremely uncomfortable. It is clear to me that there never has been a well functioning air conditioning unit. Master Schreiber is beyond fair and reasonable. I know he has put a lot of time and work into the building where his school exists. It isabsolutely unacceptable that the school get so very hot. My boys did not want to attend classes on days when the temperature was above 80 because it got so darn hot in there! The landlord really really needs to do the right thing here!!!
The landlords are very fortunate to have such a wonderful business that is a huge asset to our Martinez community. It is just a shame that they are being so selfish.

I don't understand how this has not been resolved by now..years?! This school has been a great business in the city of Martinez for a long time. It is a shame that the landlords are uncooperative and unapologetic when the issue affects children.

It is quite sad that it has to come to this point for the owner of the building in question to be alerted in such a manner. I for one know how expensive, and inconvenient it is to have to pay for the replacement/repair of an air conditioning unit-my hospital just spent over $14k this week for maintenance on 1 of our 4 units. It did not however take 100 of my customer signing a petition for us to have the work done. Completely unacceptable and nothing short of pathetic that a business person would allow this type of problem to go on for such a long time.

This is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with. My daughter struggled and didn't make it through her class on Thursday due to the heat inside the building.

If you are receiving full rent from Master Schreiber every month, you are legally obligated to maintain the building!
