Re-open Astor Community Garden and the BITE Food Pantry

This program is a big asset to the community. Assists family in many different ways, Food, Education, Tutoring, Cultivating the soil and planting vegetables.

I miss the garden!

This is truly a very important petition because it help the community to come together thru love and kindness of others helping them get the nutritions they need in there house holds from the Garden I feel it’s a garden of love that the bite family are growing to feed those in desperate need.. please help by signing this petition God bless everyone

I don't understand why the garden is closed. I have participated in a lot of events in there to help the community of Jersey City and now is closed. I'm sorry that the garden have been left to drug addicts that will pollute the school which is right next door. I ask that whoever is in charge have a heart and open the garden to the Astor Place Association

Please keep this organization open. They are doing good for the community. Especially to offer food at no cost when many families are struggling. This is of the highest importance.

Communities need places to come together for positive interactions

What a travesty to have such a well maintained Volunteer community garden revert to another urban eye-sore. Shame on you Jersey City and the SDA (school development agency). Please help this financially marginalized community to grow.

Astoria Garden is a safe haven for neighbors as well as children seeking outdoor activities it has been apart of the community for years please give it back thanks
