I've got a mural on that wall too, I skipped lunch for 3 weeks and worked on it during AP art in that time too. Lot of time I'm out into leaving my mark on this school.

Why do we even need to fight this. Don't take the art down. The school belongs to the community not one person.

The artwork within East high school is a key, expressive outlit for students. Getting rid of it would be a mistake.

Why would anyone want to destroy someone's creativity?

Leave the art wall the way it is. These kids need to see tradition and honor what was before them. Maybe more focus should go into their education rather than remodeling a hallway.

It looks beautiful. Leave it alone. Try spending the money on something useful for a change.

This was my favorite hall to walk down in high school. It always made my day a little bit better.

My daughters attended East and I always loved looking at the murals. The principal wants a "professional" atmosphere? It's a school, not an office building. Let the murals stay!

The foundation of a school is to build inspiration and strength in the betterment of each individual. The art is significant in this process. By covering it up, the foundation crumbles and the sacred investment comes falling down. Please keep these amazing youths' foundation intact. Your support says "I believe in you"!
