By painting over this mural, it erases 20 years worth of history. It, also, shows a lack of appreciation for art.

These walls are one of my favorite memories of former students as I travel through the hallways. I'd be sad to see them go, just as saying goodbye to the students themselves was bittersweet.

The murals are a beautiful addition to the hallways of mchenry easy high school and for them to be painted over would be a creativity crushing action. Let the murals live on to inspire the art students and other student attending this school.

I hope and pray they don't paint over this. One reason I loved that school from all the art work they put in it! For me it released stress if I was feeling down I would go down the hall and look at the different paintings. To put me in a way better mood! Art is not just a feeling it's someone expressing there talent to do something they enjoy so many ppl have put time effort missed class just to do these paintings! Those students took time to do all of the art work it would NOT be fair if someone painted over the walls some of those students are not even with us today! And that is taking memories away from them. And there class mates of what memories they do have of them!

The art hallway was a great place to escape for any reason!! These kids worked so hard on them, for hours on end and covering them up would be a slap in the face. That art hallway brings character and life to that school and I would be incredibly disappointed in the administration if it gets covered up.
