To paint over this artwork with longstanding tradition is to ignore the meaning of what the artwork represents. To ignore the meaning of the artwork is synonymous with ignoring your students and failing to see their needs that are separate from attaining passing ACT scores. Painting over this artwork is disrespectful and ignorant and it makes me question the integrity of the current principle who has initiated this debate or at the very least has allowed it to be a debate. Shameful and disappointing. I strongly oppose.

Not only should the artwork be left up forever, it should be added to until the whole school is lined with these memories!

Mr. Blake is out of control, those are people's works of art, if you even give him permission to paint over one, he Will have primisson to take down or paint over , what ever ones he deems fit. I belive that every mural on the way deserves to stay up there, and there should be more up there!
