I was a student at McHenry East the year this began and have my mural on the wall. I have visited this many times as well as my family. My aunt has also seen this as she's since retired from being an administrator at McHenry East for many years. Please keep these murals as it shows generations of interests, peoples culture and is a significant part of peoples life's and experiences. I greatly value the opportunity of having the chance for that project, and to make McHenry East a part of my life and experience in art. I feel that would be greatly lost for a lot of people if the murals were taken down. Thanks!

These paitings are memories of past students and future memories or upcoming students. To paint over them is like getting rid of one of the things that makes McHenry East Campus great

I dont even go to Mchenry and i feel they should keep the art! The few times that i have been there and walk through the halls i just have to stop and take a moment to appreciate all the years of art! It's truly amazing and I wish Central can do something like it! I say keep the history and be thankful to the past students art for being able to put a smile in some kids rainy day! Keep the history!
