Garfield's turn as Spider-Man was the perfect casting choice. He's a funny guy who can really knock out some great quips while he knocks out the bad guys, but we also saw his chops when it came to portraying internal struggles. Seeing Garfield wrestle with the decision of whether or not to reveal his identity during Civil War would be an amazing thing to see.

Pulling Garfield from the role simply because he had his own franchise separate from the MCU would be a terrible decision. Scrapping him in favor of rebooting a character that still works would only hurt the Webhead we all know and love. If Garfield is up to donning the Red and Blue again, then let him meet a larger world.
