There are rumors that Robert Downey Jr won't return in IronMan 4 or other movies. If there will be an IronMan 4, us IronMan fans don't want a new IronMan. Robert Downey Jr is Tony Stark. No actor (actress possibly) could take his place.

I have been reading your comments and it is clear that no one else can embody the spirit of Tony Stark the way he does. His performance defined a generation for all of us and replacing him would feel like losing a piece of the story itself. I am still keeping a close eye on the latest studio rumors and will let you know if anything changes.

Seeing this level of support confirms that Robert Downey Jr remains the only person capable of embodying Tony Stark. The momentum we have built proves that there is simply no replacing the heart and soul he brought to the character.

How could they think about replacing ROBERT!! There's no such an iron man movie without HIM!

Robert Downey Jr was born to be Iron Man. That's one thing you can't take away. Please keep him as Tony Stark because people love him and always will.
RDJ should be IronMan simply because he has started in 3 IronMan films and if he doesn't star in tbe fourth one, it will be chaos from the IronMan fandom and also from RDJ's fans. Also it would ruin the image as everyone is accustomed to seeing RDJ as IronMan and anyone else would be have a wrong image (not implying their acting skills are bad) because everyone is used to seeing RDJ as IronMan :)
