These places should be kept for the children and adults that love ice sports. In fact the we should be building more of them

I really don't understand the mentality of this country at times. A perfectly good and well needed community resource left without support AGAIN! What about those who regularly use the rink? The hockey teams, dancers Etc, their supporters? Just wipe them out along with the rink? Ridiculous. All that money wasted. Why can't our towns put more into supporting and protecting these venues? They're the first to complain about youth hanging around and being a nuisance. Absolutely diabolical.

Important for all the community. My son plays ice hockey, it is a great sport and a great way to keep fit. The more rinks we have the better .

This ice rink was THE most precious thing to me growing up in basignstoke! I lived there!!! FOR THE LOVE DO NOT TEAR IT DOWN!!!!!

I’m a london Raiders hockey fan and Basingstoke bisons have just come up to the same league so it will be sad to see them relocate! Also planet ice is a nice rink.

We need a rink in Basingstoke. It's as simple as that. We travel from didcot to watch ice hockey.

Worked there 30 years ago where I met my wife. Now take children most weeks. Will be sadly missed if it has to close.

This is a huge community issue. Thousands use the rink on a regular basis even though the rink has been left to deteriorate and is in desperate condition. This is a hockey and ice activity town and it's time the council showed their support for their members
