The rink has been an important part of my whole families life for over fifteen years and a major part of the towns sporting identity for longer than that. We cannot lose such an important part of Basingstoke.

I’m also a Bigson fan and we are in desperate need of a new ice rink. This is a lovely way to spend quality time with my family, something we all enjoy together. Please don’t take away a family sports venue what else do we have.

We use the rink regularly every week. This would be a big loss. We skate with others who travel to Basingstoke to skate because they have nothing locally.

I've been skating at Basingstoke since it opened and my parents set up the ice skating club. Too many rinks are closing we need to keep this open and support new upcoming talent!

An Ice Rink must be retained in Basingstoke, so many ice users of all sports and recreation. Supports a healthy lifestyle and as a result saves NHS and councils funds in care, medical treatment and life expectancy.

Spend so much of my childhood in the Basingstoke ice rink, 4-5 times a week for 12 years. I travelled across the world with my skating team and made lifelong friends. I'd be devastated to see it go, and for today's children to be deprived of the opportunities that I was so fortunate to have.

One of the main staples and incomes of the town, no clue why it would be replaced by more shops when the town can’t even stay full!

We need the rink so that the locals cam carry on supporting their favourite hockey team. And the juniors can carry on with their passion of playing. My son being one of them
