Ice rinks are such a wonderful place for all ages, it gives young children a sport to follow and all important exercise, youths and young adults focus and something to keep them on track and fit and adults a fun sociable activity. To lose another rink would be devastating

It is bad enough that we are going to lose our football team through greed, let's not lose the ice rink, which is not only a place for having fun on the ice but it is also the home of the biggest and best supported sports teams in Basingstoke

Please keep the ice rink open. The young people and others need somewhere to enjoy and meet other people. It's good exercise too.

Ice hockey has done so much for me in my youth and adulthood, everyone deserves an opportunity to get involved with it.

KEEP OUR RINK OPEN! How could they possibly let the most successful and popular sport in Basingstoke just close?! Football draws maybe 250people and Rugby maybe 100. Ice hockey draws around a 1000 people! It’s a great social opportunity for many and also a great way for many to keep fit and healthy! Where would all the junior players go if it closes? Give up their beloved sport?

yet another rink under threat, this can not happen, it’s unfair to all the people who use it on a regular basis, where will the adult and junior ice hockey teams play and train, the government say we need to be more active so put money into sports venues.

Southampton lost its Icerink in 1987 the city has never been the same without it. Please don't go down the same route! It will be a huge mistake for the new complex.
