Great facility keeps the kids off the streets. This is a much needed place.

Sadden to hear there are plans to close the ice rink. We’ve been involved with ice hockey for 15 and Basingstoke club always belong to one of the best in South West region. Please re think your intention, closure would affect so many.

My daughter started figure skating at age 7. It helped her as she was growing up to not only keep active and fit but how to be part of a team and work hard. This has helped her in all aspects of her life since. I really hope the council listen and other children will have the same opportunity mine did.

Save our rink it's good for people in Basingstoke been going for 30 +years watching ice hockey and skating and my handicapped brother goes as well we need a rink in Basingstoke Don t take it away

My 13year old twins use the rink twice a week 1 of which is to watch the MIGHTY Bison play hockey
How the council can even contemplate no rebuilding this is an outrage. You can keep the shops give the new rink

It would be a detrimental loss to basingstoke to not have an ice rink. Myself and many others use it to allow are children to experience skating on the ice and also watch the basingstoke bison ice hockey teams. I have done this for many years and hope that it will be a facility available in many years to come.

We absolutely need to have an ice rink in the town as it supports local clubs, the community and is a place where children and adults can go to exercise/fun. We do not need more shopping tonforesake a popular leisure activity
