Country needs more sports facilities for all sports, including ice rinks.

The ice rink is a major part of my life and i cant imaging how it isnt popular enough to keep open, the Bison regularly fill the seats and leave only standing room and during skate sessions its always busy. Losing the ice rink would be a massive loss for the whole town including the kids who are just starting to get excited about a fun new sport

The ice rink has been open for years, it would be such a shame to see it shut down.

Was a season ticket holder for the Bison at one stage, we stopped going because we were fed up of the poor facilities and constantly increasing prices. Would use again if they modernised or at least improved the current rink.

Ice Hockey is an important sport in he local area with a number of teams that develop young players of the future. That needs to be supported to provide local competition to further develop players who will be the professionals in the years to come.

Basingstoke does not need another shopping Mall it needs to keep the diverse sporting facilities it has to encourage children/ adults to take up physical activitie which is more beneficial to mental/physical wellbeing than shopping ever will be!

The town needs an ice rink. Spectrum is already extremely busy and cannot cope with a large influx of rinkless skaters without seriously compromising everyone's training and ice time. Also the leisure skaters need somewhete to go. Shame on Basingstoke council for not making this popular venue a priority or planning for an improved venue in the future.

Went there as a kid. Has fallen apart over the years. But it brings people from all over to Basingstoke and is part of the community.

I grew up watching the Basingstoke Beavers, now i'm taking my two daughters skating at the same rink. Whether a replacement rink or refurbishment of the current arena is done, it falls down to the council to ensure this goes ahead. Failure in this regard will be the council's failure alone
