Keep Basingstokes Ice Rink, I used to travel over an hour and a half to play Ice Hockey for the Basingstoke Lady Bison

My granddaughter is an ice skater and she spends alot of time at the rink and to have it taken away would end her ice skating very sad.

The rink was a massive part of my childhood and is the only reason I return to Basingstoke from London, to see the Bison play and skate. Basingstoke wouldn't be the same without a rink.

My children were there from the day it opened three boys played ice hockey two girls figure skating , which kept them off the streets and kept them fit.

If this closes and Guildford rink close then there is only one rink around this region which is miles away, please keep this rink running as its also a means of fitness for lots of young children including adults.

Please reconsider. If the ice rink closes people will look outside of Basingstoke for their needs therefore spending less money here.

I play ice hockey at the basingstoek planet ice the bisons are doing really well and will be a great lose to the community to lose the ice rink

Former high level national competitor representing Basingstoke Ice Skating Club and assistant coach. User of Basingstoke Ice Rink since 1992.
I’ve always imagined the day I would take my own child to ‘my’ rink for the first time, now I’m afraid that will never happen.
Save our rink!!!

Basingstoke has a proud tradition of Ice Hockey that has to be allowed to continue.

Basingstoke needs an ice rink. It is a wee used rink for the various hockey teams and figure skaters. We also have a number of local players on the GB teams, both male and female.
