It would be a travesty to lose one of the few ice facilities in the country and consequent loss of ice sports

So few of these type of community facilities left these days - we cannot let them all disappear.

we need more rinks in this country to provide opportunities for kids and adults to participate in winter sports and stay active with sports they like to do.

Given the fitness benefits and life skills around confidence and team work, it would be tragic if this rink were to close.

Please keep the ice rink. It is a very important leisure facility for all ages and it would be a complete loss to the community if it closed.

We need more hockey in the UK. It’s stull relatively unknown and it’s a great sport for kids to get into and give them something active to do.

Please, please keep this rink going. Ice hockey and ice related sports /activities are already far behind many other developed countries. Please keep these alive for the current and future generations. These sports/activities need more encouragement and promotion and not lack of investment. There are already plenty of eating and shopping places.

Myself and myself have been involved with ice-hockey for over 30 years and we have all spent lots of happy days and nights at the rink since it opened, my brother played in the Wella Beavers in 1989 and now my own son plays. It would be a great loss to the South coast to lose such an important rink and could possibly result in the demise of ice-hockey altogether.
