As an Ice Hockey fan th drink brings me to Basingstoke twice a season and sometimes I stay over. Town would lose income from visiting fans.

Ice rinks in the UK are already so far apart, it prevents people engaging in ice skating which many people are passionate about.

Basingstoke Ice Rink cover a very wide area. We travel from Andover and my son and daughter have played ice hockey there and we love watching the Bisons. If this goes not only will that disadvantage recreational users but another nail in the coffin of ice hockey which in my opinion is the best sport in the world.

It would be an incredible shame if yet another place that gave children and adults an outlet for exercise were to close.

It's our towns team and it's great for Basingstoke. I love ice hockey and have been going since I was a small kid going with my parents.
