Vital for ice sports in Basingstoke and the large surrounding area. At a time where leisure facilities are needed more than ever, losing the ice rink could be a crippling blow to the town and its users

I have used this ice rink on many many occasions. I have friends who skate here. Please do not take this away. Its a much needed building in Basingstoke.

The rink has been a part of my life for 30years this year, I’m now lucky enough to teach others this amazing sport. It’s such a busy arena and a huge part of skaters young and old loves, it has to remain in the town.

The ice hockey leagues here are small enough we need more ice rinks not less! Crazy to shut the rink knowing how many skaters will be without anywhere to play

As a Swindon Wildcats Ice hockey fan it is imperative for ice hockey at this level that Basingstoke Bison remains a team and has an ice rink fit for purpose.

Hard to think of basingstoke without an ice rink and the bison! Had many good times their following the basingstoke bison and would be devastated to see it go. Save basingstoke ice rink!

The Council have a responsibility to ensure they support local sports venues. In the battle against obesity surely fun exercise should be encouraged?

Have been going to the rink since I was little growing up watching and playing ice hockey for various teams also worked there for some time it needs to stay its great for the kids and adults
