Planet ice is a great place for anyone to go! I always go with my friends and it’s great fun. I can also go with my family and we have such a laugh! My friend is part of the ice hockey team and it’s really important to him, please don’t shut planet ice down.

My wife and sons spent many years developing their skating skills at Basingstoke and it should be kept open for further generations.

Planet ice is like home to a lot of skaters, and it would leave them broken to see the place they learnt to do something they love shut down will break them. Also it’s a really good place to go with Friends or family.

To NOT have an ice rink in Basingstoke would be a huge step backwards. Keep a rink in the town and have it council run.

Ice rinks are a community interest facility, removal of any of the few that we have, scarcely placed around the country, removes a social, economic and sporting aspect from a community.

My Daughter and Foster Children who have special needs/learning difficulties have learnt to skate at this ice rink and still love going. We are Bison fans too. We need to save this ice rink. It always has a friendly atmosphere. We have always spent a lot of time there.
