I am a bracknell bees fan and have been watching Bracknell and Basingstoke derbys for give or take for 30 years and the money that would of generated to keep the rink maintained???? But you fat cats leave it and now decide you should close it well done. Why is it you close down places that hard working people enjoy going to but you never close your social clubs or your golf clubs its a joke!!!!

Awful. We can't find the funding to keep an ice rink open, but the Tories can find a billion pounds to keep themselves in power. Makes me sick!

Keep this rink open!!! Stop killing off the good things in life that keep social activity and sport alive! Sort it out!!!!

Been using the ice rink since it's opened. Ice hockey is the highest level of sport in the town and the best supported (basingstoke) sports tram. The junior's are also producing international level players, (In a facility that's falling apart, imagine what could be achieved with a decent ice pad to skate on.)
Something other sport teams in the town are not doing. It's a disgrace that the ice rink has been allowed to fall in to such disrepair. Much more could be said!

I have lived in Basingstoke all my life, the ice rink gives lots of fun to people who just want to go & skate as a family, with friends or learn professionally, I enjoy watching the Bison, lady Bison & buffalo ice hockey teams, it is the most watched sport in Basingstoke & a big Disgrace to let this dissapear.
