Please keep this rink open, Basingstoke is our closest rink and we travel an hour to attend this rink for our lessons. Please encourage young skaters and promote this fantastic sport, to keep these youngsters fit and healthy and off the streets!

The council is showing a lack of respect and disregard to it's residents. Ice skating and ice hockey are incredible sports to participate in and spectate.

I’ve been a skater for 5 years and I feel a remorse empty feeling when I can’t go for a weekend, let alone not being able to go at all

We travel from Bournemouth every Saturday at 4.30am for lessons please keep the rink open as it is our nearest rink

Having to travel miles as it is, so that my children can skate, anything up to 3/4 times a week. An ice rink in Basingstoke is a must
