You can’t close this down it stops the development of young skaters who want to progress somewhere such as the olympics if they are skaters or ice hockey players you can’t take that dream away from them

As a mother of a synchro skater, albeit in a different city, this rink HAS to stay open/be included in the rebuild. Skating is such an inclusive activity and can lead to wonderful friendships, as well as healthy activity for all participants.

We simply can’t contemplate the loss of a good ice rink. The cost of refurbishment and maintenance will be repaid over and over with good marketing and and good community sport and leisure planning.

This rink helps so many people get more confident on the ice, and the staff here and just so wonderful and nice. If you close this down the amount of people that will be so upset is unreal. Please don’t everyone here is happy.

Keep it open, many of my friend go there for social gatherings on Friday and have fun skating about, would be really nice is you could keep it open.
