Why let such an amazing facility get run down to this extent in the first place? It's a disgrace! Invest the money and give this town back the ice rink it loves.

The ice rink has been a fantastic resource that my family has been able to use. My children have taken ice skating lessons, we use it for a weekend activity and my son participates in the Let’s Play Hockey program. It is an essential resource that should be supported by the community.

Having a step son that loves the Bison we must save our rink. There is not enough for teenagers to do, don’t take more away!

The ice rink is a place that brings the whole family together. Whether it’s skating or watching the Bison. These places are important and must be kept. Spend some money on it like the bowling alley and make it great again. KEEP OUR RINK!

At a time when fewer and fewer children are playing sport, often from lack of organisers it would be a real shame if a sporting facility such as the Ice Rink were to be lost.

I love this ice rink and I do not want to see it go. I have just started my ice skating again after an 8 year gap and I am really enjoying my lesson with my coach Penny!

I've been looking forward to taking my sons-when they're a little older. Having enjoyed this facility myself in the past, can't imagine having to take them anywhere else

We use this rink several weekends a month and would be devestated to find it closed. Please invest in your community and bring this building up to a higher standard

Every county should have an ice rink, Basingstoke bisons alone need to continue to have ice time in order for other areas to continue in their leagues, let alone the other figure skaters and general public that would be effected. Please ensure that an ice rink with ample seating is available in the new development plans.

Would like to say Basingstoke Council don't underestimate how important an ice rink is to you community, also don't underestimate how passionate ice hockey supporters are!
