This is the closest ice rink to where we live. If you close it down, I don’t know if we will be able to go anywhere else to skate with our children. I used to be a figure skater and lived in Prague where there are many ice rinks. This sport doesn’t seem to be so popular here which is a real shame. It would be great if you could find a solution that would enable to fix the issues with it and keep it open. Thank you.

We were under similar conditions at Grimsby and fought hard to have the rink transferred to a community group. Councils need to be held more responsible for facilities they have a hand in; not claim them when its time to get funding for sports but then *conveniently* wash their hands when it’s time to open the wallet for work to be done. Grimsby Rink is right behind you Basingstoke!

Hands off our leisure facility, plus its the home to the local hockey team.

Please keep the rink my daughter has skated there for 5 years. Enjoying synchro and solo skating. She has kept fit and made many friends over the years.
