My daughter started her figure skating career here and my son still plays ice hockey against friendly adversaries - it would be a crying shame to lose this rink!

So important to safeguard this facility for the future. Both my children who do figure skating and ice hockey would be absolutely devastated if it were to go.

The rink provides an excellent way for lots of different age groups and people to access sports and as a form of fitness. People travel a long way to use this facility and to see games etc. It is important that it is in the new plans to help provide the sports diversity.

Telford fan however do not wanna see another suggestion British team go under due to the poor rink management of planet ice.

Lots of people rely on the rink to keep playing/watching ice hockey. From kids, uni stidents to pensioners. Let alone figure skating, public skating, parties and whatever else.

The last ice rink in North Hampshire. Bracknell / Gosport will be our closest.

I was lucky enough to grow up with a reasonably priced ice rink just a short bus ride away it was a fantastic community facility and I appreciate it even more now I have moved to an area where I would have to travel at least and 90 minso to get to any decent sports and leisure facilities :(

What a crying shame this would be. Children and adults alike use the rink, it has a multitude of different things going on, figure skating, ice hockey, Disco's and public skating. Where will all the people go?
I believe this is a valuable community asset.
Save the rink. Kids need facilities like this!
