I think it should stay open as I have been watching hockey for many years following the bisons.

This has been my second home for many years while playing hockey. Many people find refuge at the rink and it should be a shock to the community to see it removed.

I grew up going to this ice rink, would like to take my children there one day. Too many people will lose out (clubs & others) should this close down. We should promote sport not destroy it!

I use this rink all the time I love getting to see all my friends there and I’ve used it ever since I was a baby when my mum used to take me can’t see it leave!!

As a weekly skater from Newbury, the loss of our closest ice rink would be a real shame and would potentially make ice skating an inaccessible hobby for myself and my partner.

I am 68 years old and still play rec hockey. If there is no rink in Basingstoke that means the end of excersising the sport I love. At my age it would not be feaseable to change to another team/ rink. Please keep this fantastic facility in our town!

Typical defunding of programmes to say it's infeasible to maintain and sell on to the private sector. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

I fell this a good asset to Basingstoke and a lot of people who love to ice skate as we now have dancing on ice back and a lot more people will be wanting to ice skate we are very lucky to have this rink in Basingstoke it would be a tragedy to lose it and Basingstoke will suffer money and
people from other county’s traveling to go to our rink we should be proud of this rink.

My two daughters use the ice rink at least once a week, it would be a great loss not just to them, but to the many people who use it one a regular basis.
