Such a good ice rink for many kids and adults. Would be a real shame to close down a brilliant ice rink!

We need an ice rink and it should be bigger and better than ever before... perhaps creating a Snozone like environment similar to Milton Keynes.
That would put Basingstoke on the map and in bring visitors in from all around.
Ice skating is great fun, keeps you active and ice hockey is a great sport to watch.
Children are becoming less active so centres that promote physical exercise like this are important.
If I could snowboard in Basingstoke rather than having to leave the country and go abroad each winter, that’d be a dream come true :)

Ice staking is great but fair to expensive £36.00 for me and my two daughters. It was their first time and we were only there for any hour. a make it cheaper I'm sure more people would go!.

Ice hockey helped me to socialise meet people and stay active tgrough mental illnesd. Im appalled by the loss of green and active spaces no wonder child obesity is rife when they have limited ghings to do or to socialise around

Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council have become synonymous with ignoring the wants if the people who live here.
Their abject sustain for sport is embarrassing.
If common sense doesnt prevail it would be appropriate to make sure the councillors failing us are public Amy named and shamed and reperwsent us after the next local elections.

Planet ice has been an asset to the ice sports community for as long as I can remember. It would be entirely tragic for it to be lost from our town.

This town has one of the highest ice hockey followers around and plenty of people young and old still use the facilities.

It's our one of my family's favourite places to visit we also have a season ticket to watch the best an biggest sport team in Basingstoke The Bison. Please keep it open for the town even though it's run down people still spend an support the rink.
