I am an out-of-state student at Virginia State University from Chicago, IL. The Amtrak Station is the transportation myself and many other out-of-state students take to go to and from home to school. Taking away the Amtrak will make it difficult for us to travel.

Without the arm track train in Ettrick it will be difficult for students to get home. So really really need it here

Many students at VSU desperately need this train station because this is there only means of transportation. When i was a freshman I had to rely on this amtrak station to get me home for school breaks. And many students here aren’t fortunate enough to have their own cars or have their parents/guardian come pick them up.

I am s virginia state university student who utilize petersburg amtrak station to the fullest. I am from Norfolk, Va and going home is never an issue thanks to petersburg amtrak

The train station is very important to the Ettrick community and the Virginia State University campus. It is in a perfect location for students to easily access so we are able to travel back and fourth from home. The train station is a vital part of Ettrick.

As an undergrad at Virginia State, this was a convenient way of transportation when I wanted to go back home. And it is right by the school, so I was able to easily get there. The students need this.
