As a student at VSU, I used the Petersburg station many years ago. I use it NOW when I visit my friends in the area. Please keep the Amtrak Station in Petersburg/Ettrick, Virginia

I'm against our train station moving to Colonial Heights. It has been in Ettrick all of these years. Why not just remodel our existing stadium?

The Amtrak station in its current location is an asset to VSU. If those in the county are so concerned about the appearance of the area near the station then perhaps they should do more to help ensure that South St is more conducive to the area. We pay taxes in this area as well.
