Please do not move them. It is so beautiful over the river! Elsewhere it would be just like all the other towns. Your display is so unique on the river. I come from schaumburg every year to see it! I love founders day fireworks in Algonquin! !

Please celebrate in downtown Algonquin where local business can benefit from the fireworks! Having the fireworks in a residential area is not as safe and would be a traffic problem.

I strongly agree with Sally Cope's comments. The fact that Algonquin has that resource, which most towns and village's don't, is in of itself, should be the main consideration of the location.
Don't tell me it's about the money!

Please keep the fireworks on the River! I just believe that for the good of the Village and the good of the Village businesses that we should bring as much to the downtown/river area as possible. After all, that is what was founded and what we are celebrating.
I also think fireworks over water enhances their look and brings an element of safety to what can be a fire danger.

The Fox River site for the Fireworks is not simply the traditional site; but is the Safest location that allows the maximum number of citizens to view this wonderful spectacle. Please do not let a vocal minority change this.
