Just because the mother gave birth to the child doesn't mean she's fit to be a mother. I say this as a mother of two with both in my custody. It goes both ways and father's deserve their rights as well.

This is absolutely insane. I hope and pray this sweet baby is not returned to his mothers 'care.' If she's been gone for the majority of his life, care is the last thing she does. Keep this child with his loving and clearly attentive father!!! His son would not be healthy if it weren't for his dad's efforts. The thought of him being removed from his dad's care breaks my heart.
