I am a fellow TVLC parent and I concur with th previous simply stated comment, "Do not punish the children for problems created by adults." While I agree that we need to reform our charter schools, I st only disagree with closing them down. We have a strong teaching foundation and a very active, invested parent community. Our children need the type of education possible at schools like Acacia Elementary and Acacia Middle. Closing them down is not the answer.

I hope that the are able to keep the school open because I have seen a change in my grandson. Also I know that it would be a shame for the school to close. A lot of our children don't do well with change.

This of education is exactly what our children need if public schools are offended that your taking students maybe they should consider a more diverse and more structured and appealing educational course or students who wish to be challenged

I support the Acacia schools and parents. They are dedicated to the kids and have provided many families with a great education with a supportive staff. As a fellow TVLC parent, it is my opinion that they have made the choices to lead here and therefore should not be allowed to operate the school. I would be happy if they no longer operated our school at this time. I feel to let them continue after not answering the violations is teaching a terrible lesson especially as a school corporation. My oldest has already learned lessons from TVLC that have made her, an 11 year old, distrust the corporation that runs her school.

After the Livermore Valley Joint School District decided to close my sosn school in 1st grade, the Charter school came to our rescue. It is and continues to be the only school my sons want to attend and I share the thoughts for the families risking losing their charters as well. Please keep Acacia open, even if it needs to be under new management. These are great schools that just got caught up in a large corporation running them. The students should not have to suffer for that. Thank you.

As a founding parent Acacia has brought me so much joy for my daughter. When she was in kindergarten through 1 st grade I noticed she was lacking in certain areas asking so many times for testing as I knew from testing done at Acacia elementary school my daughter was found to be a visual learner needing more resources to help her learn better math charts anything she needed . In second grade a teacher saw that in her she learns a different way I am so thankful an IEP was done and she is doing better with math and reading she teaches me how to understand common chore math I see her maturing speaking well and it's all because Acacia elementary school has teachers that pay attention to our children parents are encouraged to be involved I volunteered a whole year in 3 rd grade making sure I was going to help my daughter succeed Acacia is a blessing to me and alot of parents and is the only reason I'm staying in Stockton they have a good program good teachers and care about our children. Because of the Art classes offered last year my daughter said she wants to go to college I asked for what she wants to take up Art . This is why I love the school and she makes me so proud with the success I have seen . This will hurt my daughter if Acacia is taken away I already see her being depressed about it and makes me want to fight more to keep us open.

Please think about what you are trying to do. Our kids education depends on all of us. Then you wonder why the dropout rate is so high its because every time they find something they're comfortable with it gets taken away. I can go on but you'll be hearing from me at the town hall meeting!
