Red Apple has been a community store for years, and it would be a great loss to the neighborhood. It's a gathering place...it's a place you bump into your neighbors. Maintaining community is an important and precious thing...and Red Apple has been a cornerstone to our community that shouldn't be lost.

This is a wonderful neighborhood store. It would be terrible to see it close.

Market research should show that this a bad business decision. If business is really driving this agenda, the ROIC will see that the socio-economic make up of the Kirkland/Bridle Trails area will not support specialty discount stores. People choose to spend a little more to support the community and quality that Red Apple has delivered. If this action by the ROIC is successful, my family and I will boycott the entire shopping center and others that the ROIC owns/manages. Please find entire list here: http://www.roireit.net/shopping-centers/search-results.php?&state=Washington Leasing contact from ROIC site: Betsy Shriver 15600 NE 8th Street, Suite K-15 Bellevue, Washington 98008 [email protected]  253.380.9373 888.888.ROIC (7642)

I shop there regularly. Anything else goes in, I will not be using it. Period.

The Red Apple in Bridle Trails is my primary grocery store and the hub of a great community shopping center. Pushing them out for a lower-quality business is disheartening and I will most likely not be a patron of that business.

If the Red Apple is no longer there, my trips to that entire Shopping Center are very likely to decrease.

There is strong community support for our neighborhood grocery store. There will be no support of or need for a non-community oriented replacement.

We have a dollar store already on 85th. If I want to go to one I will go there. When at Red Apple I also shop at Bartells and Ace ; however I can shop Bartells in Houghton where there is a Met Market or Kingsgate where there is a Safeway. I don't really have a reason to go to Bridle Trails without Red Apple.

Don't want or need a Dollar Store in our neighborhood. The same goes for a very low end grocery store like Grocery Outlet. Our area will not support either of these retail stores

Please keep this wonderful family run store open! Any other store would be a disaster, especially a dollar store! We are disappointed that NY Pizza had to close and that there is no real restaurant. Our Red Apple is a community restaurant, coffee shop, bakery and has a wonderful variety of market items I cannot find at Safeway.

Keep this store open, leave their rent alone. It's refreshing to have an upscale local store in our neighborhood and we enjoy the higher quality good they carry.

Red Apple Bridle Trails is a great store and is part of the community. How could you do this to this local economy?

Do not close Red Apple thru greedy rent increases. We will boycott any replacement businesses.
