No thank you to rental properties in our family community.

This is a family neighbourhood and I've seen what takes place in developments that allow rental properties. Example is city homes development to the south of durham college...properties are neglected and family values aren't respected. We pay high property taxes and I would deem it disrespectful if city council allows rentals in our neighbourhood.

I've seen first hand what these renters do. It needs to stop!

No no no. This is wrong. There is enough rentals around. They low value of area and increase crime. Which will also increase insurance.

Under no circumstances do I want, nor support, any residential rental zoning in Kedron Park.

Kedron residents take pride in their property. There is such a wonderful sense of community surrounding the park. Rental units devalue it all. Just take. Look at what happened to Dalhousie St rentals. It's a real shame that people felt forced out. There are more than enough student rental buildings being thrown up along the Simcoe St corridor to house them.

Not again. Keep the student residence to where the school is. We had enough trouble on niagara drive and had to move. Smashed pumpkins. Students urinating. Screaming late at night. Unkempt homes. Our old home was turned into a grow op by students.

We spent a lot of money moving for the ruining of Niagara Drive when the students moved into that area. There are more than enough student residents that they can use. Keep the students to the same area and leave the family homes alone.

The dynamics of student housing is detrimental to this family centric neighbourhood and community! UOIT and DC students have already taken over much of this end of the city at the expense of many well established Oshawa families. Don't let them do it to this neighbourhood, too!

As a home owner in the area I am totally AGAINST the residential rental license application for 2109 Scottscraig Dr. or any other property in Kedron Park. This is a family centric neighbourhood and our elected representatives at Oshawa City Hall should vote to keep it that way!

We are in complete agreement to deny any consideration of rental licenses for the Kedron Park subdivision. We have had issues for years with renters behind us on Scottcraig Cres. Properties are not taken care of. Dogs are left outside barking all the time. It impacts our use of our backyard during summer months.

We certainly do not want this to happen in our area as it did in the Niagara residential area. We already have businesses and now to have rentals come in would be devastating. We bought our home thinking it was a residential area - and if this does go through our homes would be devaluated. We strongly are against having the rentals and businesses in our area.
